The 14" EliteBook 840 G9 Multi-Touch Laptop from HP helps remove barriers to hybrid work, thanks to conferencing capabilities, productivity, and security. This system is powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1255U 10-Core processor and 16GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 memory that can be upgraded to 64GB.
The 14" UWVA anti-glare IPS display features a 1920 x 1200 native resolution that is equipped with LED backlighting, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 250 nits brightness, an 800:1 typical contrast ratio, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, viewing angles of 89/89/89/89°, and coverage for 45% of the NTSC color gamut. Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics delivers a sharp, clear picture, and you'll be able to output video to an external display using the Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.0b outputs. The display is also a touchscreen, which allows you to utilize the touch features and functions in Windows 11 Pro to further improve accessibility and productivity.
For storage of your files, there's a 512GB PCIe M.2 SSD. If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the EliteBook 840 G9 features two 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 4 ports that support DisplayPort and Power Delivery. There are also two 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one of which doubles as a charging port. Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) is also built-in for wireless networking and Bluetooth 5.2 technology will allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals. Other integrated features include a 5MP IR webcam with an integrated privacy shutter, plus face-detection security and system unlocking via Windows Hello. Also featured are dual mics, 1W stereo speakers with Bang & Olufsen HD audio, and a touch fingerprint sensor for fingerprint authentication.
The EliteBook 840 G9 Laptop includes a 65W USB Type-C power adapter and an HP Long Life 3-cell / 51Wh lithium-ion polymer battery that supports fast charging of up to 50% in 30 minutes and lasts for up to 14 hours before recharging is required. Windows 11 Pro (64-bit) is the installed operating system and protection is provided by a limited 3-year parts & labor warranty.
